The fifth and final day of our lighthouse trip began with a revisit of Split Rock.
We arrived there very early, so we had the place to ourselves. I walked down the path to the lake roughly 130' feet below. It actually wasn't to bad of a walk, I expected much worse.
I got down there just in time for sunrise. The sound of the waves, the slight glow of sunlight on the rocks, it was very calming. I just took it all in for a few minuets.
I did see one other photographer who was hiking along the shore while I was setting up my camera, but that was it. What a great place. I will definitely go back.
