Since day two of our Upper Peninsula trip has drawn to a close, I thought I would throw in a couple posts not related to lighthouses. If you are going to follow this blog, and I hope you will, you are going to see some often repeated subjects, and statues of Abraham Lincoln is one of them. I was born and raised in Springfield, IL., and nothing was, or is bigger, than Abe Lincoln in Springfield.
This is one of the first pictures of a Lincoln Statue I took when I got my camera. "Lincoln Draws the Line" stands at the corner of Main and Jefferson, outside the Peoria County Courthouse, in Peoria, IL. It was sculpted by John McClarey.
