Once again I was out trying to photograph some Bald Eagles on the Illinois River. It was cold, it was dreary, and it began raining pretty good, so I headed back to the car. As I was walking I noticed this one boat, all by itself, out in the harbor. It made me feel kind of secluded and alone. I imagine being inside this boat, gently rocking back and forth, drinking some hot chocolate, and listening to the sound of the cold rain ticking and tacking at the windows and the wood. This image takes me to that place. That is why I love taking pictures so much.
